  • ACCAB Operates As Per ISO/IEC 17011 , General Requirements For Bodies Providing Assessments And Accreditation Of Conformity Assessment Bodies.
  • ACCAB Quality System Deploys Policies That Support Our Credibility And Transparency.
  • As Per The Competition Appellate Tribunal Of India Order Dated 17th January 2014 That It Is Not Compulsory For Any Accreditation Body To Be Under Any Network Of Law And Any Body Would Have The Authority To Act As The Accreditation Body Provided Such Body Has Necessary Infrastructure.
  • National Institute Of Standards & Technology (NIST), U.S. Department Of Commerce Has Completed The Review Of Our Affirmations Of Self-Declaration Both As A Quality System Registrar Accreditation Organization And A Laboratory Accrediting Organization Pursuant To 15 CFR 280.102 And Enlisted ACCAB Under The Global Standards Information – List Of Self-Declared FQA Accreditation Bodies Http://Gsi.Nist.Gov/Global/Index.Cfm/L1-3/L2-6/A-216.
  • ACCAB ISO 15189 As An Acceptable Accreditation For Joining The Initiative For Promoting Affordable And Quality Tuberculosis Tests (IPAQT). IPAQT Aims To Channelize Private Sector Diagnostic Labs To Provide Tuberculosis Patients And Suspects With Affordable Access To WHO Endorsed High Quality Molecular And Liquid Culture Tests To Detect TB And Monitor TB Treatment. As Part Of This Initiative, Over 75 Diagnostic Labs Pan-India Are Already Members Of IPAQT. Along With ACCAB ISO 15189, Other Acceptable Accreditations Are NABL (ISO 15189), NABH, RNTCP, And CAP.

  • Permissions: Accreditation Commission For Conformity Assessment Bodies(ACCAB) operates its accreditation programs as per the applicable International Standards and Publically Available Documents and has requested for the official permission to the following organizations to use their Publications Vis: Requirements/Guidelines/Advisories: for the ACCAB accreditation applicants and the accredited CABs who wish to implement these requirements/guidelines voluntarily. The details of the permissions are posted on the ACCAB website under “Publications”.

  • The Accreditation services provided by ACCAB may be accepted on the basis of an independently delivered service  designed to support organizations seeking verification of the credibility and integrity of accredited conformity assessment bodies
